Look Back at Top 10 The Kitchen Docs Recipes of 2021. See if your favorites made the list!
Just like 2020, 2021 was anything but an ordinary year. In some ways, it was more challenging than 2020 but at the same time showed some promise and hope towards “normal”, whatever that is anymore. The good thing is, 2021 is a closed chapter and 2022 is here. You all have shown a lot of love to the blog in 2021 and for that I am forever grateful. 2020s top 20 was requested for and was such a great way to summarize what you all loved, so here is one for 2021 as well. I took a look back at the analytics for 2021 and came up with this list for you all. These data can sometimes be misleading, since the recipes from the beginning of the year obviously get more views and love from you than the ones that were, say, came around in November – December.
2021
In 2021, I also looked for pointers from you all – what your expectations are from this forum and then tuned the content accordingly. I still am very much a spontaneous cook and I write down and photograph recipes that I cook for my family. So no blog agenda or planner here but I love the pointers you send me or when you respond to my polls on Instagram and Facebook. It definitely gives me a direction to think. Since I do not blog full time, I appreciate this even more. This year my work has taken up most of my time and I was not able to share as many recipes as I would have liked to but you all stuck around and supported me like always. And for that, I am forever thankful.
If 2021 taught us anything in the kitchen, it was to hold our loved ones close, and count our blessings. Being present here on the blog and sharing recipes and my love of food and cooking with y’all kept me motivated and sane. Your appreciation, likes, comments, photos, and inspiring messages always mean so much to me!
